As we look back upon our year, I am filled with so much gratitude and motivation to keep going through 2020, and beyond.
The new year will bring lots of fun opportunities for followers of ZooFit. Weekly recipes and workouts will continue, and I’m working on engaging content to share to connect us to the earth in healthy and positive ways.
This workout was a quick and fun workout I created while visiting my family in South Carolina. Not having access to a lot of workout equipment, nor having a lot of time to DO workouts, this was a great way to stay active, motivated, and moving even when I’m super busy.
If you are heading to a New Year’s Party, or just putting together your resolutions, try this quick workout to ring in 2020 on a healthy foot.
Each round: Beginners: 4 burpees, 30 seconds of work of prescribed exercise, 30 seconds rest
Intermediate: 7 burpees, 45 seconds of work, 30 seconds rest
Advanced: 10 burpees, 1 minute work, 30 seconds rest
- Round 1: Squats (beginner: box squats, intermediate: air squats, advanced: weighted squats)
- Round 2: Mountain climbers (modification on bench or incline)
- Round 3: Jumping Jacks
- Round 4: Plank hold
- Round 5: Lunges
- Round 6: Quickfeet
- Round 7: Dips
- Round 8: V-ups (Or modify to Sea Star Crunches if necessary)
- Round 9: Giraffe Reachdowns
- Round 10: High Knees
Give yourself about 20-25 minutes to complete the 10 rounds. And then feel good as you bring in the new year.
